Laser Transit Project
The Project
Laser Transit is a third-party logistics company located in the Village of Lacona, in rural Oswego County. Laser Transit chose this location due to its proximity to the I-81 corridor.
In 2013, Laser Transit acquired equipment capable of lifting 50,000 pounds to handle heavy coils. This was precipitated by the recent expansion projects at Novelis Corporation, a major aluminum manufacture in the county.
